About the cook:

I’ve been a on a wheat & gluten free diet since 2008, when we finally figured out that gluten was the villain causing my constant headaches, weekly migraines, hives, and all manner of misery. I’ve been on a gluten free diet since, and it’s taken me years to put back together my recipe book. My husband – who doesn’t have my eating restrictions – has been awesome along the way, helping me by eating everything and telling me if it tastes ‘normal.’ It’s taken a lot of work to get this far, and I hope you enjoy my efforts.

About my recipes:

I’m not going to lie to you, folks. I’m a southern gal and it shows in my cooking. Nothing you’ll find on this blog is designed to be healthy – it’s food designed to taste good, pack on a few cozy holiday pounds, and make you feel like you’ve come home. They’re also my own creation, salvaged through hours of baking from wheat filled recipes (some old family secrets), not copies from other gluten free sites. I thank you in advance for not representing them as your own elsewhere.
